Paji Splitly is a free online bill-splitting tool built to take the stress out of shared expenses. Whether you're splitting a restaurant bill with friends, tracking costs on a group trip, managing rent and utilities with housemates, or settling up after a big event — Paji Splitly does the math so you don't have to.

Why We Built This

Anyone who has tried to split a group bill knows the drill: someone pulls out a calculator, another person insists their dish was cheaper, and suddenly a fun evening ends with an awkward money conversation.

We built Paji Splitly because we believe that money should never get in the way of good relationships. The goal from day one has been simple — make splitting bills so effortless and transparent that nobody feels shortchanged, and nobody has to feel uncomfortable asking for their share back.

What Makes Paji Splitly Different

There are other bill-splitting apps out there, so why Paji Splitly?

  • No installation required. Paji Splitly is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Open it in any browser and start splitting immediately. You can also add it to your phone's home screen for an app-like experience — no App Store needed.
  • Works offline. Once loaded, Paji Splitly keeps working even without an internet connection. No Wi-Fi on the trip? No problem.
  • Guest mode with real privacy. Don't want to create an account? You never have to. In guest mode, your data lives only on your device and is never sent to any server.
  • Smart settlement algorithm. Paji Splitly uses a graph-theory-based algorithm to minimize the number of transfers needed to settle all debts. In a group of 10, that can mean the difference between 9 payments and 3.
  • Flexible splitting methods. Equal splits are just the start. You can split by custom shares (e.g., a couple counts as 2 shares), exact amounts, or percentages — whatever fits the situation.
  • Real-time collaboration. Share a link and your whole group can edit the same bill from their own phones, simultaneously. No more "can you send me the updated screenshot?"

How It Works

  1. Add participants — type in names, or pull from your address book if you're signed in.
  2. Record expenses — enter who paid, how much, and who shares the cost.
  3. Check settlements — Paji Splitly calculates the optimal way to settle up and shows exactly who owes what to whom.
  4. Share results — generate a summary image or shareable link to send to the group.
